A flintlock pistol with turnover double barrels, Flemish or French, circa 1780. Round, screw barrels in 9 mm calibre on a rotating frizzen block. Engraved box locks with rocaille decoration (worn away in places by cleaning). Two central cocks with slide safeties. The left cock mechanism is defective. Double triggers. The movable trigger guard latches the barrel group. Walnut grip with silver wire inlay. Brass pommel cap with a sculpted grotesque mask.
