The male, 127 mm in shoulder width, was clutch- ing a 11)1 mm female. The female had three vaginal openings, two in the normal position on the segment bearing the third walking legs, and one on the right side of the segment bearing the second walking legs (Figure 1). Dissection showed that the extra opening was a l>lind sac, leading to the vagiim and seminal receptacle in a normal manner, but terminat- ing with an oviduct 8 nun long; the flaccid seminal receptacle did not contain sperm.
