PACIFIC OCEAN (May 25, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the “Black Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4 participates in a vertical replenishment-at-sea between the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Wally Schirra (T-AKE 8) and the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in the western Pacific region, as the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57), background, steams alongside. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
