An old Fungi, colored green from algae, on an old dead hardwood Stump in the indigenous Forest at Kaasche Hoop, South Africa. The False Turkey tail gets its name from its colored zones, similar to that of a Turkey tail Fungus,. It is a sprobic fungus and can cause white rot in Hardwoods.
