A Richmond armory rifled musket, .58 calibre. Bright bore. Minimal spots on the outside. Stamped "V" and "P" above an eagle head mark on the left side of the barrel. Stamped "12" on the tang. The lock plate has an inscription which reads, " Richmond, VA", and the date "1863" Beautiful, slightly retouched walnut stock with iron furniture. Brass nose cap.
