Sydney, Australia. 9 May 2016. Media were invited to the launch of an exciting new cultural event, ‘Sydney Sings’, billed as Australia’s International Festival of the Voice. It will be held from 28 July to 7 August at venues across Sydney and will showcase some of the finest Australian and International vocal talent. The festival will include all genres of vocal performance from musical theatre, to choirs, jazz and liturgical musical and solo performances, with more than 700 performers expected to participate.
