Westland Lysander WW2 plane used for flying secret agents into and out of Europe

The Westland Lysander was designed in the 1930's for close support of ground troops, but when World War 2 broke out, proved to be too vulnerable to enemy action. But it found its true role and achieved fame for carrying secret agents into and out of enemy occupied territory, often flying from England to some tiny farmer's field in France where it landed with the aid only of a couple of masked lamps. This one is preserved in flying condition by the Shuttleworth Trust, and was photographed at the Trust's home at Old Warden, Bedfordshire
