In parts of the country where the thermometer does not fall below 20° to 25° Broccoli can be had from November until March. It succeeds best in a moist and rather cool atmosphere. The seed should be sown in May in a seed-pan and the plants afterwards set out in rows two and a half feet apart and eighteen inches between the plants.
