Begur is a Spanish municipality in the province of Gerona, located in the Catalan region of Bajo Ampurdán. Current tourist destination, it maintains an important historical past that dates back to prehistory, also passing through the Iberian era. Throughout the municipal area, important remains have been found that confirm the age of its nucleus as a human settlement, important during the feudal era. The Castle of Bagur is the most emblematic symbol of this time.
