Located on a small hill, just at the entrance to the town coming from Hostalric, it is a rural chapel mentioned since 1624. The building that we can see is the result of a later reform, from 1785-1789. It consists of a single nave, rectangular, with a polygonal apse, and a small body added to one side, which acts as a sacristy and has a window with the date of 1862. The façade has a Baroque crown, with a bell tower rebuilt after of the Civil War. The portal has a lowered arch and there are two portholes at the top. Breda is a small municipality located in the eastern parts of Montseny, within the region of La Selva. Breda has been recorded since the 11th century, when it was a rural town, but it cannot be considered a fully settled population until 200 years later.
