Labour Party shadow cabinet member Rachel Reeves pictured on a visit to the home in Sale of Anthony Cunning during campaigning in the Wythenshawe and Sale East by-election. Mr Cunning was being hit by financial penalties due to the so-called Bedroom Tax. A by-election was due to be held for the constituency of Wythenshawe and Sale East on February 13, 2014, following the death of sitting MP Paul Goggins.
