They are a soft, vegetable fiber, and do not irritate the bees. As each separkte fiber extends the whole length of the handle as well as^ the brush, they are almost indestructable. When they become sticky with honey, they can be washed, and when dry, are as good as ever. The low price at which they are sold, enables any beekeeper to have or more of them, so as to always have one handy.
