Excepting the throat, which is of a beautifulpurple \iolet, the mouth is pure white, marked by regular and delicate ribs, larger and more distanton the inner lip, Avhich is faintly tinged with purple; the margin is a little reflected; the claws flat-tened, and the two upper ones much divaricated; the back is white.
