Students from the first grade at Stewardson-Strasburg School accompany members of the 8th Special Operations Squadron (8th SOS) as the servicemen walk to their aircraft for the return to Florida. The servicemen corresponded with the children while stationed in the Persian Gulf area during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Now that they have returned from deployment, the men have traveled to Illinois to meet and spend a day with their pen pals.
