Tamsulosin hydrochloride. Molecular model of the drug tamsulosin hydrochloride ( ). This is an alpha1a adrenergic receptor antagonist, sold under the brand name Flomax. It is used in the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Atoms are represented as spheres and are colour-coded: carbon (grey), hydrogen (white), nitrogen (blue), oxygen (red), sulfur (yellow) and chlorine (green).
