In 2021 about 1,200 participants took part in the March of the city's defenders. After honoring the memory of the dead with a minute of silence, representatives of the patriotic forces of the city, including ATO veterans, activists of the National Corps, Svoboda and other organizations, went in a column under state flags along the central streets of towards the monument to Taras Shevchenko.
