Air Force pararescue specialists assigned to the 52nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron perform free fall operations from an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft assigned to the 26th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron within the Central Command area of responsibility, Nov. 16, 2022. Pararescue specialists make up a third of the rescue triad, along with HH-60G Pave Hawk Helicopters, and HC-130J aircraft to provide combat search and rescue and personnel recovery capabilities within the AOR.
