SAN DIEGO (May 15, 2017) Electrician's Mate 1st Class Jason Gooden reunites with his family as the amphibious transport dock USS Somerset (LPD 25) returns to Naval Base San Diego from a deployment. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th MEU) completed a scheduled seven-month deployment to the Pacific, Middle East, and the Horn of Africa.
