Treking in Via verde del Carrilet greenway at Estany gento lagoon reservoir. Vall fosca Lleida province, Catalonia, Spain. km long walk (round trip) along the old Carrilet del Estany Gento lagoon road. The starting point that we propose is the upper station of the Vall Fosca cable car. From this point, we first go around the Estany Gento and then we follow the old Carrilet route to the water chamber of the Capdella plant ( km). We always advance at an approximate height of 2,140m of altitude on a flat path that does not present any difficulty. We make the return the same way. The Carrilet del Estany Gento was built in 1911 to transport materials for the construction of the Capdella hydroelectric plant and the entire system of pipes that connect the lakes in the area. Currently its layout has been enabled as a greenway and it becomes a wonderful path to walk and enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the upper part of the valley. An ideal hike to do with the family, right at the gates of the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.
