CL.^SSIFIC.\TION LAMP A combination flag holder and classification or markerlamp, which has been giving good results on the Chicago,Milwaukee & St. Paul, is shown in the illustration. Thislamp is made of heavy galvanized sheet iron and all thejoints are spot welded or riveted with eight-ounce construction is clearly shown in the drawing. The socket for the electric light bulb is at the bottom of thelamp and the switch is located at the lamp, making itnecessary to go to the lamp in order to turn on the light,thus insuring that the engineman will know if the lightis in operation. The lamp contains the usual lens andis provided with a receptacle to hold four extra the lamp has been securely bolted to the front end,the part of the lamp flange extending over tlie front ringis turned down and prevents the lamp
