Urban Garden and Bridge Across Duliu River in Congjiang, Guizhou, China
View of the main bridge in Congjiang from a small garden plot built in the floodplain of the Duliu River. The floodplain is populated with garden plots all along its length, each demarcated with a low stone wall. Congjiang is a city built on foothills within the Dong Autonomous District of Guizhou. For travelers it is mainly a transit point, however the town has its own character, with many local restaurants and a substantial park along the water. Industry within the town is primarily based on cut and polished stone used for construction.
