Two groups of collapsed burial chamber stones from Hendrefor Neolithic tomb, Anglesey, with in situ portal stone at E (L). Mound removed by farming.

Looking SW at two groups of burial chamber stones ( + field clearance) from Hendrefor Neolithic tomb: drawing of 1802 shows portal stone at E (L) & another upright supporting a sloping capstone which had fallen by 1825, the W (R) group had collapsed by the late 1700s. The remains stand on a natural ridge (95m contour) with sloping ground to the SW & wide views to the peaks of the Lleyn peninsula. They may be from one chamber once covered by a long cairn, two chambers in the same cairn or two separate monuments.
