A model 1747 Prussian dragoon sword,Straight double-edged blade of lenticular section,one side shows an eagle mark,the other face stamped "Potzdam"(AM conjoined). Brass hilt with a kidney-shaped half-basket,thumb ring,knuckle-bow and crossed ancillary bars. Leather-covered grip without wire wrap,eagle-head pommel. The grip shows slight signs of age. Length 110 cm. An untouched weapon with original leather washer.
