Carved by Thomas Waldo Story and inscribed with his name and Roma 1897. 60 feet across with three groups each comprising a woman with flowing hair and an accompanying cupid. The upper figure pours the essence or elixir of love into the fountain which the others drink becoming rapturously intoxicated.
