Extinction Rebellion's Red Brigade make an appearance at the demonstration to stop HS2 (proposed High Speed Rail Link) at Network Rail's HQ, Eversholt Street, Euston. Destruction of 63 ancient woodlands including South Cubbington Woods South Warwickshire is proposed to enable the project. Naturalist and TV personality Chris Packham was also present to fight the proposed loss of biodiversity. The railway line will carve through countryside between London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. HS2's projected cost has risen with the possibility it will be cancelled.
