. Burpee's farm annual : the best seeds that grow including rare novelties. Nurseries (Horticulture) Pennsylvania Philadelphia Catalogs; Vegetables Seeds Catalogs; Fruit Catalogs; Plants, Ornamental Catalogs; Flowers Seeds Catalogs. NEW DOUBLE GERANIUM, DOCTOR MAREST. A Single Plant drawn from Nature. New Double Geranium, Doctor Rarest. This new double variety represents the Progress in Geraniums told of on page 157. For beds or borders it is unsurpassed and will quickly take the lead, being entirely reliable and standing out distinct from all other sorts in vigor, form, and color. As will be seen by our illustration of a single plant, the habit of growth is wonderfully broad and massive for a dwarf variety. The abundant trusses are superbly borne erect on stiff stems well above the solid bright-green foliage for a long season. The individual florets are perfectly double and so well massed that each truss is a bouquet in itself. To our mind, however, the strongest point of merit is its color. As part of a half acre of selected Geraniums the past summer Dr. Marest was so remarkable for vivid crimson-scarlet that no visitor passed it by. We unreservedly recommend it and offer plants that cannot fail to give satisfaction. 20 cts. each ; 6 for New Fuchsia, Washington. Introduced and named by the noted French Hybridizer, Mo>*s Lemoine, this new variety is in some points a most remarkable novelty in Fuchsias. Of vigorous, healthy habit, quickly growing into a charming, well-balanced plant. The flowers", one of which, drawn from a photograph, is here shown, are perfect, large, double, and produced in constant profusion. The color is really novel, the tube sepals are soft, rich carmine, while the corolla is true rose-mauve. A more lovely combination cannot be imagined. We predict the greatest popularity for it. 25 cts. each ; 3 for 60 cts. New Fuchsia, Carmalita. Undoubtedly the best single white variety. A good grower, with small, glossy foliage and a profus
