The isolated centrum figured by Huene(19146) could not be located but judging from the proportions it wasprobably part of an anterior caudal vertebra. The proportions of anisolated neural arch (Galton in press, fig. 3a-c) and of a centrum (Galtonin press, fig. 5c) show that the dorsal vertebrae of AM 41/109 were probablyelongate ( the centra were low) as in YPM 1883 (Fig. 9K). 3. Slenderness of neural spines of anterior caudal vertebrae. This comparisonby Huene (1906) was based on misleading figures given by Cope (1870)and Marsh (1893, 1895, 1896).
