The London Flower Shop had some lovely valentines made with choice blooming plants and with cut flowers in dainty bowls and delicate vases. A number of orders have been booked for cut Easter lilies for Easter delivery at $35 per hundred. It is with sadness that the death of Joseph McGregor, who died of pneu- monia recently, is recorded. He was a capable grower, possessed of initiative and of a genial disposition. Charles F. Pennock sailed from France for home on the Lapland February 19. Charles H. Grakelow arranged an ef- fective window with flags this week, America's stars and stripes being in the foreground. The other four great pow- ers, with the black, yellow and red flag of Belgium added, formed the back- ground. Whether Belgium was included from a sense of fairness or from an artistic instinct was not learned. Howard M. Earl is still abroad on gov- ernment seed business. Clarence U.
