Red kite (Milvus milvus) in flight. This rare bird of prey is 61-72 centimetres in length with a wingspan of 69-79 centimetres. Is is found throughout the western Paleractic region. The red kite has been successfully reintroduced to The Chilterns and is now becoming a more common sight in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, in the UK.
