The Ha'Penny Bridge (officially the Liffey Bridge) is a pedestrian crossing of the River Liffey in Dublin City. Made of cast iron in 1816


When it opened in 1816 the toll to walk over the bridge was a half penny. This later increased to 1 and a half pennies until the toll was abolished in 1919.
