A dead oak tree in rural Buckinghamshire, UK.
A life-less tree in rural Buckinghamshire, sometimes called widow-makers trees, because of the hidden dangers of falling brittle branches in high winds, or when such trees are being worked on by tree surgeons, farmers and forestry workers. One branch falling from near the top can bring down further branches as it tumbles down, with subsequent danger to people or livestock at ground level.
