1932 - The home of aviator Charles Lindbergh (1902-1974 & his wife Anne Morrow Lindbergh at Hopewell, New Jersey USA, at the time of their child's kidnapping .Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Junior was their 20 month old son who was taken on the evening of March 1st. Twelve ransom notes were recieved and $50,000 ransom paid, but the child was not found alive as advised on a boat named “Nellie” near Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts . The childs body was found in May, partly buried only a few miles from their home. A coroner concluded that the child had been murdered soon after the kidnapping.
