Wholecloth quilt ca. 1790 British, probably Both the front and back of this whole-cloth quilt are constructed of three panels of approximately twenty-six-inchwidth fabric that have been stitched together. The front is copperplate printed with blue floral vines on a white ground, and the back is a red copperplate scenic print on a white ground. The piece is quilted in various fan and diamond patterns in borders around a diamond-quilted central Wholecloth quilt 13859
