The beautiful Mk VIII Spitfire from Temora Aviation Museum in the air at Warbirds Down Under 21/11/15. Whilst this particular aircraft never saw active service it is painted in the green and grey camouflage colours worn by the RAAF aircraft defending Darwin during World War II and in operations in the South West Pacific. The aircraft carries the markings of Wing Commander (Bobby) Gibbes OAM DSO DFC*. - See more at: #
