Towers linking powerlines that stretch across the landscape of Southern California. A horse freely roams and grazes on grass in the foreground. The juxtiposition of the manmade powerlines along side this animal and against the lush green rolling hills in the background poses the conflict of man vs. nature. The modern age of mankind seems to intrude on the beauty, peace and solitude of Mother Earth. The powerlines disappear into the distance leaving only to the viewer's imagination how far they may stretch.
