The village or commune of Beynac et Cazenac lies on the banks of the Dordogne in south west France.


A view of the village or commune of Beynac et Caenac which is situated on the banks of the Dordogne river in south western France. At the top of the village is the chateau de Beynac. The village is regarded as one of the most attractive in France or as they say Les plus beaux villages de France. The village was used as a location for the film 'Chocolat' by Lasse Hallstrom in 2000.
