Fine spotted porcupinefish (Diodon obicularis). The porcupinefish has the ability to inflate its body by swallowing water, almost doubling its size. This is often used to scare off potential predators. As it expands the spines radiate outwards, which acts as another form of defence. Photographed in Lembeh Strait, Sulawesi, Indonesia.
