Aberdeen University's U Company, 4th Battalion, Gordon Highlanders (Pre 1914).


Pre 1914. A winning shooting team of U Company with their rifles and trophy. Apart from the officer in blue patrol jacket they wear ceremonial Gordon Highlanders uniform. The tiger collar badge celebrates long service in India by a predecessor regiment. U Company was the most popular of the volunteer units open to students since its inception in 1898.
