Largely grown for decorative purposes over the North and in Europe. Has symmetrical growths of delicate, fringed branches. Can be grown in lower South Florida and South California outdoors. Is a grand plant for a jardiniere. Fine, young plains, pot-grown, li each ; specimens can be obtained at from Si to $10 each. CALTilTRIS robusta. The Cypress Pine from Queensland. Somewhat resem- bles our native red cedar, but is conical in form and very dense. A fine tree for tall hedges and windbreaks, as well as for single specimens. There are grand specimens in various parts of Florida from our original im- portation some years ago (about 1887), which are very much admired. It is also a very nice subject for growth in pots as a decora- tive plant, rivaling Araucaria excelsa. Fine plants, pot-grown, 35 cts. each, per doz.; small, 25 cts. each, -$ per doz. CEDRUS Deodara.
