Frank McCall, 8th Healthcare Operations Squadron bioenvironmental engineer technician, explains a radiation detection setup process during a training event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 9, 2023. The setup included a machine that sucked in radiation particles and another device called an ADM300 multifunction survey meter that recorded the radiation readings. If radiation was detected, Airmen relayed that information to leaders who implement health protocols to keep personnel safe as they continue their mission.
