Aubrie Orourke Portrait. Aubrey O’Rourke, a project scientist at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, is a member of the Crop Production team at the Florida spaceport. One key project on which she is working involves the building and deploying of an automatic genomic sequencer for spaceflight applications. The capability will allow NASA to conduct fundamental research as well as microbial monitoring of water and foods systems off-planet and at remote locations on Earth.
