No specimens were secured by us north of this point. The collection contains 34 specimens, 1 to inches long, taken at the following places: Port Townsend; Marrowstone Point; Admiralty Head; Fort Rupert; Kilisut Harljor; Port Alexander; Port Ludlow; Sucia Island; Loring; Yes Bay; Cleveland Passage, and Killisnoo. The species was recorded In' Bean (1882) from Sitka, and from St. Paul. Kodiak Island. 125. Enophrys claviger (Cuvier and Valenciennes). (PI. xvii. fig. 1.) Recorded by Gilbert (1895) from station 3233, Bristol Bay. No specimens olitained by us. .i^Cf^..
