The Biograph Theater in Chicago made famous as the location where criminal John Dillinger was shot by FBI agents in 1934. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is an official Chicago Landmark. Though originally a motion picture theater it now serves a venue for live productions. The Biograph opened in 1914 and is located in the Lakeview neighborhood on the city's near northwest side.
