Cold, clear mountain water runs timelessly over smooth stones and under fallen logs on Chippewa Creek, above the South Fork of Bull River. Chippewa Creek is a tributary of the South Fork of Bull, located in Sanders, in the Cabinet Mountains of northwestern Montana. The creek runs west from the South Fork of Bull River, south of Ibex Peak, and is populated with native Westslope cutthoat trout.
