Quite similar in general formand habits, is another Top-shell, named Calliostotna can-alicidatum, Mart., can-al-ik-u-la-tum, and shown in Fig. shell is larger than thatof the last species, though theengraving represents quite aFig-65- large specimen. Its shape is conical, and the whorls are girdled with deep spiralchannels, between raised ridges. The surface is lightbrown, or ash-colored, though the shell is rainbow-tinted within.
