Patterson, of Hawesville, Ky., in a communi-cation to the Kentucky Druggist offers the followingexcellent suggestion : When numbering narcotic prescriptions place theletter N after the number—for instance, 3204 N. Whena customer brings in a bottle or a box for refilling, theletter N will instantly tell the druggist that it is for anarcotic and cannot be refilled. This will save valuabletime, as there will be no need to refer to the prescrip-tion file. 318 BULLETIN OF PHARMACY QUERIES Inforination is given in this department underthe following conditions only: (/) No queries areanswered by mail; (2) queries must reach us be/orethe 15th of the month to be answered in the Bulle-tin of the month follow
