08/06/20 Duncan Renshaw and Polish Ashbourne resident ÔRaffaÕ holding up the BlackÕs Head. In a bizarre twist to the race row that has divided a Derbyshire town, Ashbourne locals opposed to the councilÕs decision to remove the BlackÕs Head pub sign, removed it themselves this evening. The angry locals who donÕt believe the wooden carved head is racist, claimed that taking the head down themselves mean they can look after it and have more control over what happens to it in the future.
