Nordenstam (1933), in his description of /. longicauda, figures the pleo-telsonic margins entire, the carpus of pereiopod I without a distal curved spine,and mentions the distinct rostrum for the species. Menzies (1962, fig. 51 f—g)also shows a well-developed rostrum, which is lacking in the present /. longicauda
