Manitoba has communication by railway with the Atlantic andPacific Oceans and all parts of the continent—that is to say, a railwaytrain starts from Halifax or Quebec, after connection with the oceansteam-ship, and runs continuously on to Winnipeg, and thence acrossthe plains and through the mountains to the Pacific Ocean.
