A mexican amazona from an escaramuza team leads her horse to the stables at the National Charro Championship in Pachuca, Hidalgo State, Mexico, November 4, 2010. Escaramuzas are similar to US rodeos, where female competitors called "Amazonas" wear long skirts, and ride side saddle. Male rodeo competitors are "Charros," from which comes the word "Charreria." Charreria is Mexico's national sport.
